Bronte’s Bio
My name is Bronte I currently work at Cindi's Pet Center in Vero Beach, FL. I take care of all the dogs we have in our store, I feed the dogs that have set routines, I know a little about grooming the basics (nail clipping, bathing, plucking the ears, cleaning the ears, trimming the face, feet, pads on the bottoms of the feet, brushing, blow drying, shaving but not the best, also on the process of learning how to clean the anal glands), as well as giving them medication. At Cindi's I have learned how to look for signs of an ill dog (trachea tests, coughing, sneezing, any strange fecal matter, whiteness of the gums, if a dog is lethargic or dehydrated) . When I was in middle school I volunteered as a Care Cadet at the Humane Society of Vero Beach, FL, there I learned how to crate train, potty train, sanitized crates and kennels properly (as I do at Cindi's). I work with a vet once a week that comes into our store helping her with shots and filling out treatment sheets as well as learning how to give microchips. Having a dog of my own has taught me a lot all in it own I've potty trained him, taught him to sit, stay, and have him sit before he gets fed and before he goes in and out of the door for potty breaks and walks. Crate training was a little difficult but he got the hang of it, anima should feel as if their crate is their safe place, a sleeping place, a spot to just relax or play with their toys, and a place to go when they get into trouble. Im great with animals, have patience when it comes to working with them, active so I'd love to take them out to play or go on walks. I consider myself outgoing when I get comfortable in my place of work, I talk a lot, always have a smile on my face. I hope to be a veterinarian in the future, animals brighten my day and thats why I love going to work everyday, even though they can be crazy and hard to handle you just look at them and can't help but smile !
