Why do you love working with pets?

I love working with pets because they genuinely brighten my day! Animals have always brought me so much happiness, and I love being able to give them the same love, attention, and care they give us. I know pets are family, and I want every pet I care for to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I enjoy getting to know each dog's personality, spending time with them, and making sure they feel right at home. Being able to give owners peace of mind knowing their pets are in good hands is something that means a lot to me!

What experience do you have?

I have around 2 and a half years of experience dog sitting both large and small dogs. I have done a lot of dog sitting in my hometown, caring for dogs with different personalities, needs, and energy levels. I have also worked with the Humane Society and fostered dogs, which has given me valuable hands-on experience caring for animals and helping them feel safe and comfortable in different environments. Through these experiences, I've gotten to work with different types of dogs and learned how important it is to understand each dog's individual personality and needs. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they receive the love and attention they deserve.

What skills and training do you have?

Through my experience dog sitting, fostering, and working with the Humane Society, I have gained hands-on experience caring for dogs of different sizes, breeds, and personalities. I've learned how to adjust to each dog's individual needs, recognize their different behaviors, and help them feel comfortable in new environments. Fostering has also taught me the importance of patience and understanding, especially when working with dogs who may need extra time to adjust. I'm experienced in providing individualized care, keeping dogs engaged through play and activity, and making sure they feel safe and loved. These experiences have helped me become a more confident, attentive, and dependable caregiver, and I'm always willing to learn more to provide the best care possible.
