I have experience as a volunteer trainer for the Guide Dog Foundation and became a certified animal healthcare assistant in August of 2014. As a trainer I had the following duties: feeding and exercising the animals each day; brushing and grooming; taking a signalment daily of the temperature, pulse, and respiration; daily obedience training exercises;evaluation of animals individually to determine their aptitude for training; cleaned & disinfected kennels daily; maintained a sanitary work environment ; gave vaccinations; maintained clear and accurate daily records.
