I have been an animal lover all my life. As a child I had many pets and wanted to be a veterinarian, but instead ended up taking care of people and children. I have had birds, hamsters, ferrets and several breeds of dogs and cats. I presently am the owner of a boxer named Bruce, a chihuahua named Sugar, 2 fish tanks with bettas, parrot fish, plecos, silver dollars and tetras. I also have two reptiles Herb the chameleon and Mango a corn snake. Previously I was a daycare teacher and was allowed to bring my pets to the daycare to introduce the animals so the children wouldn't be afraid. My dog Sugar was also a therapy dog because she has one eye. Not only do I have pet care experience, I also do babysitting and house sitting.
