Heather….what can I say? Best sitter we’ve ever had from SitterCity….wait, no, best sitter ever?! YES: most definitely. Besides my mother, who is kin, Heather was truly the dream experience we hoped for on our trip to Maui, HI. We were working anywhere from 3 to 8 hrs. a day - we had multiple locations we needed help with along the island, based in Kīhei, but then Makawao and also Wailuku. She was not based exactly in these areas, which meant extra travel for her with a very reasonable fee, but she was spectacular - six stars are in order. Never came late, was flexible with end times (but don’t abuse that, and be kind because she is very worth it). Was cool with our kid while also being positive about making sure that he didn’t disrespect her and creating limits - that only comes with experience. I can’t say enough, but I will also add, our son came with a recent health condition (spider bite) that got way out of hand infected on the plane and she was totally professional and did not balk for a minute in helping us with his health needs - cool as a cucumber and yet really attentive to our instructions of what needed to be done (shout out to Minit Medical Urgent Care in Kihei too, just in case). Not only did she engage with our kid in beautiful ways while at our home base, she managed to keep him engaged and attentive on site at the concerts we played in (we’re musicians). She’s a pro, and a wonderful person; hire her now!

Heather helped care for our then 3 month old son when I returned to work for a couple of months. Having Heather there with our son made returning to work so much easier. Choosing her as our nanny was easy, because our son just lit up when she entered our home. She was very dependable and an absolute joy. I have not one single complaint about her time with us, and cannot recommend her highly enough. Most importantly, my sweet boy was always happy to be in her care.

Heather babysat for us at our hotel when we were visiting Portland. She was wonderful! The boys loved her! She kept them all in line while still having fun. I would highly recommend her!
