I have always grown up around pets and love the company and personalities they provide. While I have always considered myself a dog person, living with my roommates cat for over a year has taught me that I am also a cat person. Although I don’t have any official certifications, I have a wide range of experience when it comes to caring for dogs and cats. However, I would say I have much more experience with dogs, ranging anywhere from administering oral medication to understanding each dogs personality, and knowing how to work with reactive personalities. I have always loved dog/cat sitting and walking dogs, but now that I’m in college, I love it more than ever since I don’t get to spend time with pets on a daily basis like I was able to back home.
