I'm 19 years old going into my sophomore year of college being a transfer student at University of Illinois Chicago following playing softball my freshman year at University of Wisconsin-Parkside. I've always loved dogs so much and finding a job that I am capable of doing while being a college student athlete has been a challenge.
In the last 5 years, I've had experience in the baby sitting world along with a handful of coaching jobs for ages ranging from 2-14 years old. Over the same timeframe, I've had countless amounts of unofficial dog-sitting jobs from my family, my friends' families, my family's friends, neighbors, coaches, teammates, trainers and more. I've never thought of dog-sitting to be a job as it is a pleasure. With that being said, I don't have any certifications or verifications that make me an expert in dog-sitting, but I have many families that could vouch for my reliability.
Some of the things that have been asked of me in my dog-sitting experience is going to the house 2 or more times a day (having a key or garage code) to feed the dogs, let them out, walk them, give them medications, cleaning up after them and sometimes putting them back in their cages before I leave. The most amount of dogs I have cared for at one time has been 5 and I have no restrictions on amount, size, age, breed, etc.
