I’m a 61 woman who has worked in nursing homes for the past 30 years. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to retire and would love a position as an elderly companion. My degree in social work and experience definitely lends itself to such a job. I love working with seniors. Id love to be friendly visitor, or simply someone who can take your parent to the grocery store, doctors appointment or just sitting going the park on a beautiful day. I feel that the combination of my degree and many years of experience will lend itself to an elder care position.
