I was once a dog swim instructor, believe it or not! I've worked professionally with dogs in a capacity many people didn't know existed (in the pool!) In that role I swam with, walked, and played with dogs of all shapes and sizes, including ones with disabilities or special needs.

I grew up caring for the neighborhood pets and pets of my own, so outside my professional experience I'm also a natural pet lover and dedicated caretaker :)
