I’ve had experience with all sorts of animals. At my dads house, we had about 5 dogs, 5 cats, a turtle, a bunny, chickens and 10 horses at the same point in time. At my moms house we have 2 dogs and 2 cats (which is still a lot, but MUCH more manageable). I’ve grown up with animals all my life and understand that every animal has their own unique personality. At times during my childhood, I would have to take care of these animals on my own while my parents went on trips for weeks at a time and it always felt special just because they felt more like “my” dogs and not the family dogs; I took the responsibility very seriously. I would take them on walks, throw the ball outside with them, cuddle with the kitties while I did my homework. I’ve not had any official jobs outside of that though.
