I am a pet lover - but ever since childhood dogs are a passion. Have owned...approximately 14 dogs ;-) in my lifetime. I currently have one loveable fun rescue (who hasn't yet met a dog she didn't like) and until July we shared a home with two goldens (one 9, one 9 months!).
I can't pass a dog without a conversation (& hopefully a kiss!) and I can't sleep well without one next to me.
I take care of my son's rescue dachshund/beagle? mix and his girlfriends rescue puppy whenever they go out of town, and the goldens when the owners let me - and have adopted several abandoned pets.
I'd be glad to come and stay at your house to keep your pet company overnight...and my (4 yr old?) pup would be glad to come along for a play-date /sleepover - or she can go to my sons and play with her cousins!
I live in Lincolnshire - and I like most other animals as well! Have had cats, rabbits (litter trained!), hamsters, mice, iguana, lizards, turtles, fish and a hedgehog named Romeo.
