I have had many dogs and cats throughout my life and even ferrets, chicks, snakes, frogs, and a tarantula. I have pet sat for many relatives and friends in the past. I can work with special needs animals as I have raised a handicapped cat who needed hand fed and watered, bathed, and bottle fed and stimulated when she was a kitten. I have been through training with two of my dogs for tricks and good behavior (including walking etiquette). Further, I have even cared for animals that are more unconventional, including skunks, raccoon, squirrels, and young possums.
