Hi I’m Riley! I have shadowed my large animal vet and I took a year long vet class through JJC while in high school. I taught horse riding lessons, was an equestrian summer camp counselor, and was a barn coordinator for 3 years. I worked at that barn for 3 years and volunteered there for 8 years before that, and have been working at another barn for a bit over a year now. I have been working with horses for about 12 years. I have also volunteered at a dog shelter for a year, and even fostered and adopted from them! I have 19 animals of my own! Ranging from fish, to turtles, to dogs, to chickens/ducks and horses. But in the past have had a snake, Guinea pigs, hermit crabs, a bearded dragon, a tortoise, lots of fresh and salt water fish, and more! I have been a pet sitter for friends and family watching dogs, cats, chickens, pigs, goats, ducks and horses!
