Growing up surrounded by wildlife and pets, I became skilled at learning their different personalities and importance. I earned a degree in environmental management and have three years experience as a naturalist and am a certified interpretive naturalist.

Caring for pets is such a rewarding experience because the animals can express so much gratitude. To experience this, I volunteered for the Bloomington Animal Shelter for 6 months and am an owl surveyor for the Hoosier Ecosystem Experiment.

I am a great sitter because of my ability to quickly learn pets' personalities, wants, and needs from their owners' comments and the animals' body language. In addition to cats and dogs, I have experience with many exotic pets such as iguanas, rabbits, snakes, turtles, fish, and arthropods; the smallest as well as the largest animals deserve our respect.
