I love cats. Aside for two years living in the college dorms, I have had cats my entire life. They're wonderful, mysterious creatures each with their own unique personalities. On a normal day, they require routine, play, companionship, and (of course) treats. When their owners are gone, they can easily become stressed. A good cat sitter won't force the cat to interact, but instead be present, calm, and provide the routine that individual cat needs. I like to find out what the cat is like and what it needs (favorite treats, toys, etc.) before sitting if possible, but I'm completely able to wing it with a new animal. I'm happy to provide medication and grooming services as well while sitting and I'm a litter-scooping champ. Though I can work with any type of cat, I have special experience with the Scottish Fold breed.
All that said, I love dogs too and have several years experience caring for and living with with them. I always enjoy a a good, long walk with just about any breed or size.
My check-in rates are $20 for a half-hour, $35 for an hour.
