Hi! I’m Sophie—a lifelong animal lover with both professional and hands-on experience across just about every species. I’m STAR Certified, hold a B.S. in Animal Sciences from Purdue (with minors in Animal Nutrition & Microbiology), and an M.S. in Pharmacology & Toxicology from Michigan State University.

I’ve worked in veterinary medicine for 10+ years and am currently a vet tech at Cottage Animal Clinic of Carmel. My background includes 20+ years riding horses, 4 years on Purdue’s Equestrian Team with trips to IHSA Nationals each year, and growing up on my family’s cattle ranch.

I share my life with two dogs who hold multiple AKC titles, and I’ve also cared for a senior macaw, ball pythons, and plenty of farm animals. Whether it’s dogs, cats, horses, exotics, or livestock, I bring expertise, patience, and genuine care to every animal I meet.
