Melissa’s Bio
For years, I was a stay-at-home mom. I have 2 daughters ages 18 and 15. Both of my duaghters were born prematurely and 1 had a birth defect. My husband and I have been married for 19 years and have owned our home for 15 years. As a family, we enjoy caring for animals.
For the past 2-1/2 years, I have been part-time caregiver to a little girl who is getting ready to turn 4. She will be starting per-k very soon.
I was a co-leader for each of my daughter's Girl Scout troops for aboout 8 years. Before I had children of my own, I was a preschool teacher. Now, I homeschool my daughters. Since they are getting older, I would like to find work outside the home. I feel that this would still give me the time I need to give to my family, plus give care to someone elses children.
I am mature and responsible. I have a clean driving record, clean background, do not smoke and love pets.
