About 3 years ago, I started my own free-lance pet-sitting, housekeeping and babysitting service. I was welcomed into clients' homes to care for their children and pets for several occasions including: during summer breaks, during working hours to care for children/ elderly and pets or sometimes for vacation time to allow parents or pet owners time away without concern for the well-being of their loved ones (pets included). On several occasions, I have pet-sat for significant amounts of time and cared for various breeds of dogs, as well as, many different species of animals. Despite offering different in-home care services, pet care is by far my favorite! I have cared for all types of species of animals ranging from: reptiles, different bird species, felines, dogs, horses and sometimes even rodents!! I have worked with several breeds of dogs including: Pit-bulls, Shepards, Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, Poodles, Chihuahuas, and even Great Danes just to name a few. I have had the responsibility of maintaining an exercise regiments, regulating specific diets, administering medication, including shots, and sometimes even working on obedience training. No matter the task at hand required or amount of time required to care for these pets I have always found it extremely rewarding and continually found that it is extremely important for these animals to not only have human contact, but one-on-one time is beneficial for a multitude of reasons.
