My name is Kate and I absolutely love dogs! I’ve been dogsitting for over 3 years and it never has felt like a job to me. It’s exciting getting to know different types of dogs and all their different personalities! Earlier in August of 2018 I cared for a 7 month old and 3 month old English springer spaniel. They were were adorable and they were also brothers so they were constantly playing and cuddling together. I stayed there for 6 days and was responsible for feeding the puppies 3 times a day, letting them out every 45 minutes to an hour, picking up waste, getting the mail, etc.
During spring break this year I watched a 6 month old golden doodle for a family on vacation. I’ve taken care of her occasionally since then and she’s my favorite crazy puppy. The owner of the golden doodle actually found me on a dogsitting app called rover.com; I’ve watched one other dog through the app and she was a huge three year old Bernese mountain dog. So I’ve had experience with large and small dogs. I’m just going to list the different types of dogs I’ve watched: Shih tzu, Bichon Frise, Terriers, German shorthair pointers (they were brothers but unfortunately they both just recently passed away) , a Great Pyrenees, a German Shepherd Rottweiler mix ( my co workers dog that I watched overnight for/walked), a Weimaraner, and 2 adorable mutts. My family includes a senior Scottish terrier named Mullet and two orange tabby’s named mango and melon and they are our world.
I’ve always loved all animals and that will never change. I’m a dependable, responsible, and energetic person who’s been trusted by many families to watch their furry friends! I have references I can give you if you’re interested!
