I love working with pets particularly because animals just make me happy and I thoroughly enjoy their company and being able to care for them gives me a sense of purpose! My current experience includes taking care of my own dogs for my family and doing check ins and visits for families dogs. Although I haven’t trained dogs or been in a program, however, I particularly think it’s important for a pet to have lots of engagement and interaction. Especially having a rewards system (treats)in place to help develop their sense of positive reinforcement and what they can and cannot do.
