My parents raised, trained and showed German Shepherds so I was exposed to animals and animal care early on in my life. This instilled in me a love for animals that has lasted my whole life. I’ve owned all types of animals both domestic and farm. I currently own 6 horses, 3 cats and 1 dog but have owned many other types of animals throughout my life. I’ve worked in different animal care careers as well. While living in Michigan I managed a dog daycare, boarding, grooming and training facility for 5 years. It was a job that I loved and would still be there if I hadn’t moved out of state. Prior to working in Michigan I was living in Colorado where I worked for a little over a year as the Kennel Manager for the Colorado Humane Society just outside of Denver. I’ve also done quite a bit of farm and pet sitting for friends and family over the years. I love animals, more then people to be honest :-), and am happy to spend my time taking care of them. I’m also able to take care of animals that may have health issues. I was trained as an onsite vet tech when I worked in Colorado. I do not have a Tech license but do have the training to deal with medical issues.
