We hired Haleigh 11/22/18. Her first day was 11/28/18. She seemed very eager to work with our family and really nice. She texts me at 1am that she couldn’t be there that day because she promise she’d watch her cousins kids as she was having a baby. We don’t have anybody down here and I just returned to work from leave. We understood and asked if she would work another day. I gave her a schedule and we AGREED she’d be there on Monday. My husband texts me at work, 15 minutes past the time we agreed upon and asks if she’s still coming. I called and texted her, left a message. NO RESPONSE. I have still not heard from her about why she did not show up or call us to tell us she did not want the position. This was twice my husband was late to work because he was waiting for her to show up so he could go to work. She is unreliable and untrustworthy. He could have lost his job. I wish she would have been upfront and truthful if she hadn’t wanted to work with our family so we could have made other arrangements.
