Patricia’s Bio
I am a retired RN. I worked as a travel nurse for more than a dozen years, and though I always wanted my very own fur baby, I knew it would not be fair to them if I were constantly traveling.
My husband and I have come back home to Louisville and we live less than two miles from where I grew up. We now have two precious, precious puppy dogs, Trip and Buddy. Trip was given to us by a family friend, and Buddy was adopted into our family from a shelter near Lexington. We have lived in our home for six years, and I am deeply happy to be in my hometown.
I was diagnosed with cancer in 2019, and I’m glad to say I’ve been in remission for well over a year now! Though I don’t feel working a 40 plus hour work week would be right for me as an RN now; I still have a great drive to care for others. Caring for our two fur babies is one of my greatest joys in life now.
Though I have never done this job as a professional, the work I have done in my life tells a story of one who is dependable, caring and highly trustworthy.
I would be honored to have the opportunity to take care of your fur babies.
