 PETS ARE PEOPLE TOO A full service animal care company. We specialize in providing "Personalized care for your animals". All animal types serviced. I am Animal CPR and First Aid Certified and Insured and Bonded. I am a Registered Member of NAPPS -National Association of Professional Pet Sitters. I have spent a life time loving animals of all kinds. I have personally fostered or rescued over 100 animals of differing types during my life time. Thirteen of these animals have found a permanent home with me. Most of the animals that I have fostered or rescued have come from horrific circumstances and have needed physical and emotional healing.   Currently I have 15 pets that I call my own. I have a two year old Scottish Terrier named Pajamas, a rabbit named Blue, an Iguana , a Converse Parrot , a Green Headed Conure , a Ringed Neck Dove, A Cockateil, a Leopard Gecko, 4 different box turtles, a hinged wood turtle and an African Skink. This does not include my 4 fish tanks: 1 freshwater, 1 brackish water, 1 cold water and a salt water tank. Did I tell you I love animals?! I spent 23 years in retail management. Six of those years was spent as a manager for a major pet retailer. I have extensive knowledge in buying and selling a wide variety of birds, small animals, reptiles and fish. While managing the store I also oversaw a grooming shop and a dog training program. I have years of personal and professional experience in animal husbandry, nutrition, medicinal needs, training, socialization, breeding, product and brand name selection.  I decided in 2007 to start my own business. I had wanted to for years. My love of animals made animal care a perfect fit.  "Pets are People Too"  specializes in  "Personalized Care for your Animals" . Your "kids" become my "kids". My office is in Attleboro, MA but I am willing to travel an hour. I currently have clients from as far north as Needham, MA to as far south as Warwick, RI. Services include(but certaintly not limited to):walking, pet sitting( at your home or mine), pet taxi, pet errands, cage and kennel cleaning and animal waste removal. I am animal CPR and First Aid Certified. I am Insured and Bonded and am a Registered Member of NAPPS-National Association of Professional Pet Sitters.
