I love animals, especially cats and dogs. Having been the owner of rambunctious cats in the past and an owner of a wild Jack Russell Terrier, I know how special animals are to people. One of my greatest losses involved three stray cats that I adopted during the 5 years that I spent in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It would have cost more than my ticket home to bring them back to America so we had to re-home them. My dog, Naughty, was a shelter save that my children and I enjoyed having for 5 years. He was afraid of everything and everyone but we loved him. My most recent pet/house sitting experience involved caring for a sweet black and white cat name Ollie. I decided to spend nights with him over the two week period due to his fear of the construction workers that arrived in the mornings. I really missed him after the job was over. I was responsible for watering the plants, bringing in packages and the milk delivery, ensuring that the construction workers had access to the home daily, feeding and entertaining the cat, changing his litter box and securing him during the construction hours in the home. I am looking forward to being able to bond with and spend time with another fur baby or two.
