I have always loved animals. My mother brought us up rescuing stray cats and dogs in our DC neighborhood, and I'm still at it. She worked for the non-profit Tail-Wagger's org. for years, as a volunteer, and we found many a good home for dogs and cats over many decades.

I have been dog and cat-sitting for friends and neighbors for years - and have been called by many a friend to help calm their pets - and assist in giving oral medicines to them.
