I've been a dog mom to a Plott hound/lab mix (my sweetest boy, Mr. Brown) for 11.5 years, and I've been pet-sitting for friends for about 8 years. I like to say I'm more dog than human. :0) I'm 49 years old, I studied biology and history at Bates, I work part-time as a project manager and live about 3 miles from my office. I have big fields outside my house for romps. I am loving and gentle and very tuned into the needs of others, especially dogs. I'm also very careful with special needs of dogs, whether behavior, interactions with other dogs and humans, administering meds, etc. etc. I believe in fresh air, moderate exercise, good food, social time with other animals (as long as it's safe) and of course lots of affection.
