Hello, my name is Dawn, and I am the epitome of pet lover. There has only been one short period in my life when I didn't have one. I am a proud owner of my 2nd 100 lb Boer Boel Mastiff. My 1st one was Brindle & the runt of her litter. I found her in Pennsylvania, & it was love at 1st sight. I spoiled her so much, I had her in my arms constantly. She thought she was a lap dog, wouldn't leave a room before I did, laid her whole head on my face or at the top of my head in bed. I had her for just shy of 7 years when she developed Osteosarcoma & passed exactly 2 months to the day she was diagnosed in November 2021. I am still just as heartbroken as the day she died. I had a makeshift hospice upstairs since she couldn't manage stairs & I slept up there with her on a foam mattress & never left her in her final 2 months.
I previoudly had 2 pugs. My 1st was a little "off" & far from show quality, yet he had an awesomely hilarious personality. I got a 2nd pug that was show quality & he achieved Champion status in only 6 shows in 6 months. The 2 were great friends & Momma's boys. At the same time I had two cats. It was total hilarity watching the 4 of them interact. A few of the pets I've had we're rescues, or would have ended up in that position, if not worse, including my 1st Boerboel had I not taken her. I have fostered pets from the Humane Society. I worked for my sister, Lana, who owns K9 Hair Force Dog Grooming. She has a stellar reputation in the grooming business. I worked for a veterinarian, where I acquired a beautiful black cat that was just dumped off by the owner who said they didn't want him anymore, so I took him home with me.

If someone broke into my house right now, I would shove any pets I had in the nearest room & close the door to keep them out of harm's way, regardless of the fact that she would protect me with her life.
