Hi! I have grown up with dogs of different breeds & sizes my whole life. I am a huge animal lover. I was a part of a club at Rutgers, Rutgers United for the Welfare of Animals, where I volunteered at the Edison dog shelter and raise awareness for animal rights, during my undergraduate years. A couple summers ago I dog walked/sat for a large breed dog every day during the week and I absolutely loved it! I have also provided care to cats while a family was on vacation; I fed, watered, and played a ton with the cats and would be very interested in another opportunity like this!

I am eager to walk, care and sit for your pets. I have my own means of transportation and I will work with any type of dog, cat, etc. I am patient, reliable, trusting and one of those people who just loves to spend their time around animals.

This past year, before moving here to Michigan from New Jersey, I worked as a veterinary technician and and am very familiar with a ton of medical knowledge regarding animals. I am able to administer medicines, give vaccines, give insulin, take a blood glucose level, give IV fluids, cold laser treatments, assisted in x-rays, nail trims, baths, light grooming, anal gland expression, and tons more medical needs that animals undergo! I have seen tons of surgeries done, assisted with a birth of puppies, assisted in medical emergencies, know an emergency is happening and what to do in those situations, have dealt with the fractious animals and know how to work with them and have a great general medical knowledge for animals. I've even worked with rats, lizards and sugar gliders! I've been around dogs from puppies to chihuahuas, pitbulls, great danes and more. I am comfortable working with all! At this job I also spent tons of time recovering animals from surgery and caring for animals that would be boarding there and am very familiar with proper care for an animal. I am available for overnight stays at my house, I have a very sweet 4 year old puggle named Lila who loves any type of friend and is good with all creatures. She enjoys playing and running around with new dogs, and subtly says hello to other creatures of all kind :)

To add, I also have knowledge and am comfortable working with any species, i.e.: rodents, birds, fish, etc. I would love to sit for your pet or come by and give them a walk or feeding watering. I am very compassionate when it comes to animals and love helping them and being around them, I hope to be your new pet sitter!
