Our daughter adores Alex! She asks to hang out with her all the time, having only known her a couple of weeks. What more can you ask for?

Alex told us she’d work for us after she FaceTimes with our daughter and us. We had FaceTime instead of in person interview cause her boyfriend had Covid. We then paid for a background check. She then said she preferred to meet in person the day before she’d start so we scheduled one. She then texted that her plane was late and she’d have to meet two days later. So we agreed and passed on another candidate. She then basically ghosted us. We reached out via texts and giving her benefit of doubt that something happened to her or her phone messaged her through sitter city and she said thank you for our time and effort. Meanwhile we were left without childcare when we needed it most. We asked for feedback and she gave none. This was extremely unprofessional and harmful to us as our daughter was looking forward to Alex caring for her.
