I recently resigned after teaching 10 years in a nearby public elementary school to fufill my goal of working individually with child(ren) to make a greater individual impact. Part of my plan has been achieved: I work part-time as a virtual learning support interventionist for underprivileged students across the United States. I am choosing to work part time as I still wish to work in person with child(ren), hence this website! :)

Before teaching Pre K-2nd grade for a decade, I was employed in a variety of childcare roles, some of which include daycare centers, live out and in nanny, before and after school care, and individual and small group tutor. My current degrees include Masters Degree in Technology Integration into the Classroom and Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education with Child Development and Language Arts majors.

In addition, I hold current adult and pediatric CPR and First Aid certifications and am up to date on all vaccines (including the Bivalent Covid booster). I have a clean driving record, fingerprints, and background checks.

I believe each child develops into their best self by being set up for success with flexible guidance, hands-on learning, high yet reasonable expectations, and patience. In addition, my philosophy includes creating an environment that allows for supervised exploration allowing for meaningful and realistic learning to take place with an open mind, consistency, and a positive attitude.
