My mom co-owns a pet sitting company, so I have had access to many animals (dogs, cats, alpacas, etc.) in which I assisted with the care of her client’s animals. I volunteered at the Nature Center in Marquette, MI, where I helped care for the animals there and when it was open I helped educate the public that came inside on the animals. The animals there were box turtles, a painted turtle, a snapping turtle, two corn snakes, and frogs. I handled the snakes and turtles often when I was there. Over this past summer I had the opportunity to feed a few baby raccoons that were being rehabilitated, as well as release a few wild bunnies back into the wild and a baby deer. I am extremely willing to learn and dedicate my time to understand the needs of your animals.
