I have been house sitting a s pet sitting for friends for a few years now when they go on vacations. They have referred me to their friends as well. I’ve pet sat for neighbors and family as well over the years. When I was 16-18 I lived with my older sister in Colorado and we house and pet sat for her coworkers. I enjoy animals and currently unable to have any in my current home. I also do not believe in bringing home pets if might be a possibility could be unable to afford any care they may need. My last cat of 11 years old passed from liver cancer and my dog almost 8 years old now lives with friends because I had to move from her country home since she was 7 weeks old into town and a small apartment wher she had to be on a leash and she was miserable. She’s so happy and cared for with them in the country try again with other animals. I live alone and am unable to work a physical full time job any longer. I walk for exercise and enjoy being outside. I can’t afford vacations so doing this gets me ability to spend time with animals, help care for them, get away from home, have a walking companion, and make some money to supplement my income. I love to meet new people and their pets.
Ii grew up with the fame life with a large family, my parents were foster parents, and we had horses, dogs, cats, hamsters, Guinea pigs, chickens, birds, lizards, and rabbits in our family as well so I have years of experience in care of pets.
I was an education professional and am 55. I am intelligent, responsible, and want to do the best job I can caring for peoples most beloved members of their family and keep them and their homes safe while they’re away.
I do not have other demands so am flexible to cover most anytime for families.
