In addition, I take my jobs very seriously and very rarely call in sick. Being active is extremely important to me and I believe it is important for animals as well. I am very personable. I don't believe 1 person is the same or one animal. Everyone is created with unique gifts and talents. It's important to get know each person and animal fully to bring out the talents he or she was given. To achieve this, I like to try different game and activities with each animal so I know them better. Also, gaining trust and keeping the animal safe is the top priority. Providing the animal with direct eye contact, patience, adaptability, and giving them my full attention are some ways I attempt to gain the animals trust. Protecting the animals in all surroundings is essential. As a runner, being aware of my total surroundings is key to my safety and others. I can't take my eye off the road for a second or it could mean my life. I take that same seriousness when walking animals. Being aware of the conditions of the roads, what to do in inclement weather, and being cautious and aware of other animals around is something I am very strong in.

Lastly, I have always been an animal lover. I grew up with cats and dogs. Providing them with care, fun and letting them know they are loved is the key to an everlasting bond. Animals have taught me the importance of nonverbal communication. Words are not needed for someone to communicate that you are appreciated. When a dog wags his tail at me or a cat purrs peacefully, the amount of joy that feels my heart surpasses any words. Knowing that I contributed to bringing that joy and trust to the animal, is the most rewarding feeling ever
