Hi! My name is Alyssa and I currently reside in a townhouse in Maple Grove with my husband and our 3 cats (Olimer, Ziggy, and Trixie). Olimer is an 11 year old black and white DSH. Ziggy is a 3 year old grey tabby DLH (we think part Maine Coon or Norwegian forest cat). Trixie is an 1 year old brown, black, and white DSH. Olimer is our most social cat who loves to cuddle with us when we take naps. Ziggy is our shy cat, but loves cuddles with us. Trixie is our brave cat who loves to sleep on my pillow at night. Ziggy and Trixie love to play and chase each other throughout the house. Olimer loves to spend his time soaking in the sun. All 3 are big talkers especially Ziggy! He loves to announce his presence to us.
In my free time I love spending time with my family, watching TV, cuddling with my cats, and taking walks.

A little background:
My mom owned a pet rescue when I grew up, so I was always around animals. We once had 28 pets in the house!
I did a few pet sitting jobs through a company I worked for last summer as well as some independently through Facebook. I walked dogs multiple times a week and also did some pet sitting jobs including some with cats. I am comfortable walking in all types of weather excluding super stormy. I am comfortable with big and small dogs and cats. I am comfortable working even with shy cats. Many people comment that they are surprised their cats come up to me as they don't with everyone. However, I do not ever force a cat to come to me or to let me pet them. If your cat is extremely shy and likes to hide, I will do my best to at least snap a picture. I have given medications orally (pill and liquid). I've never had to apply a topical ointment, but have know the basic knowledge of how it should be applied. I am also comfortable administering eye and ear drops.

My schedule:
The days that work best for me are Monday-Friday anytime between 7AM-10PM. Also weekends early morning and afternoon. I do own a party rental business and stay busy on summer weekends, but am able to do 6:30AM-7:30AM morning visits, 1PM-4PM afternoon visits, and 7PM-11PM evening visits on weekends.
I prefer Maple Grove, Plymouth, and Champlin, but am willing to go to Rogers, Wayzata, Minnetonka, Hopkins, etc.
My check-ins and visits are 20 minutes unless you request additional.

Why did I chose to be a pet sitter?
I have always had a huge love for animals! I love being able to make my own schedule especially when doing a job I love!
