I started pet sitting as a child for my teacher's adorable puppy, who just loved to play and wanted all kinds of attention!

In the 20 years since that sweet puppy, I have cared for many and animal while their owner is away. I have handled cats with delicate diets, whose wet food must be put in the microwave for seven seconds! I have cared for dogs on a strict walking schedule who didn't care that we were "falling back" on daylight savings time and absolutely had to be taken out for their morning walk at 4:30am. I have cared for a sweet older dog who had a terrible reaction to a medication and needed intense skin care to treat her rash. And I loved all these sweet, furry, friends.

As an owner of two cats and one dog, I'm quite comfortable with all sorts of pet care. I am happy to provide companionship, feeding, walking, grooming, and play. I also am comfortable handling medical emergencies of animals and I am not squeamish about looking in your pet's mouth to check its gums, or keeping an eye on its bowel movements and other bodily functions. I know how important it is to monitor all things about your beloved pet.

I know that one thing I love when my animals are with a sitter is to get the occasional picture or video of their happy, goofy, furry face to reassure that they are doing well. That is one thing I provide to clients.
