I have been pet sitting for many, many years. As a kid, my neighbors always asked me to feed their pets when they were out of town (dogs, cats, hamsters, fish), and during my undergrad I became a regular pet-sitter for several different families with dogs.
I do not have experience caring for exotic animals, birds, or reptiles, but I have been around these animal types and I am willing to care for them -- I'll just need a little instruction!
While caring for pets, I love to play with the animals and I also really enjoy going on long walks around the neighborhood.
Cleaning up messes, indoors or outdoors, does not bother me, and I also have taken care of a dog who needed to wear a diaper on a daily basis.
