My family felt comfortable from the very first meeting Amy and her family. Their dog Scarlett is very sweet and a wonderful playmate for our very timid retriever Penny. I did worry about leaving Penny for the weekend as she had never been watched by someone outside the family before. I also knew that kenneling her somewhere for the weekend was out of the question.
When we came to pick her up it was obvious we had made the right decision; she was calm, not clamoring to get in the car, or doing the 'excited pee' thing she used to do as a pup when seeing loved ones. She absolutely had to have been comfortable while with Amy and her family or else we would have 'paid' for it in the week that followed. Everything was status quo with Penny; which is MORE than we could have hoped for after leaving her.
We would absolutely recommend Amy to anyone looking for a sitter.
