I've cared for animals in some way all of my life. When I was a child I cared for horses, dogs, cats, a ferret, a few rabbits, and even rehabbed a baby woodpecker that I donated to the Audubon Zoo. Later, when I was in trade school I worked at a No-Kill shelter in Talbott, TN where I cleaned kennels and cared for dozens of dogs. I've personally rescued and re-homed close to 20 dogs and two cats. I currently have 3 dogs, two of which are my own rescues.
