My husband Rick and I, and our sweet Collie mix, Sierra, live in a comfortable three bedroom home out in the country, with two fenced patios, and acres of land to play. Our home is well-heated in winter and well-cooled in summer. Since we both work primarily from home, your dog is rarely alone, and receives plenty of attention and exercise throughout the day. A minimum of three good walks, (customized to your dog's level of comfort and need), extra ball play, and as many duty calls as they need.

Dogs love it here at Camp Braveheart! Many are frequent fliers who can't wait to come back, as we have built our reputation on our quality care and affection for your beloved companion. We offer "retreat" style animal sitting in our home by day, week or month, and we most typically only take on one family and no more than two dogs at a time. This assures your pup(s) receives pretty much our undivided attention.

We are accustomed to special diets, raw food prep and feeding, and natural supplements. We will keep you updated with daily text messages and photos of your companion, living it up at Camp Braveheart. We look forward to a meet and greet!

Between us, we've had a Cocker Spaniel, German shepherds, labs, beagles, a basset hound, a mini/standard poodle mix, three golden retrievers, two Irish setters, a few terrier mixes, two dachsunds, a border collie/Bernese mountain mix (presently). We've sat for a boxer, English bulldogs, labs, goldens, Jack Russells, poodles, shitzus, mutts, and many more!

Sitting in your home:
I am a common-sense, resourceful, mature, responsible home-owner. I will mindfully care for your animals and your home, just as I do my own. I am a calm presence in the face of what arises in the day to day, and in urgent situations. I am happy to do simple chores, such as getting mail, watering plants, and keeping your home as neat and tidy, as I find it upon my arrival. I do any light cleaning necessary, to clean up after the dogs. I am comfortable with dispensing medications, supplements, and special diets. I’d be happy to provide references as well as meet or chat on the phone, to discuss my fees, and to follow up with a meet and greet, if we both consider that I might be a fit for the position. I appreciate developing long-term relationships in my work, and hope that you may, too.
