My love for animals started at a very young age when I was introduced to horseback riding. From there I became a competitor rider which introduced me to my passion of pet and animal care. I am minoring in Zoology at UNCA in hopes to learn more and be set up to open an animal rescue one day. I have experience working with animals of all kinds- dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, rodents and barn animals. I have the ability to administer meds, provide basic medical care, and notice warning signs within an animal. Their safety is my #1 priority, as they are our bestfriends. I spent the past 7 months working a 30 horse barn, and got the experience to learn each horses individual personalities and quirks. I have many pets of my own and grew up with my mom teaching me all I need to know, as she is a vet-tech. Animals are my greatest joy in life, and I love each and every one I meet.
