I adore animals of all sorts and have a great deal of experience in caring for them. I have worked as a pet carer for more than 10 years. I started, naturally, caring for and training my own dogs, cats, and horses from childhood. My dogs included some high energy breeds such as border collies and Australian Cattle Dogs as well as some more independent breeds such as Scottish terriers. More than that, however, I've worked as a vet tech in a small animal clinic and volunteered to socialize shelter dogs, primarily pit bulls and pit mixes, in Santa Monica, California, working with a program that paired shelter dogs with children in the juvenile justice system. I have a great deal of experience in gently but effectively handling a wide variety of wonderful dogs in a vast number of different circumstances. I truly love all dogs, regardless of their age, their activity level, or their breed. I am confident in caring for animals with special medical needs as well, including daily oral and sub-cutaneous medication. I love cats equally and am expert at cat laser tag! I have experience with small animals as well, and am comfortable handling rabbits, chinchillas, guinea pigs, and more. I am a responsible, reliable person who always has your pet's best interests at the forefront of my mind. I would love to take care of your animals!
