Hello! My name is Alaura Hyde and I am a student at UNCW. I have been around animals my whole life. Growing up, we always had dogs and cats, with the occasional non-typical pet (rabbits, chickens, hermit crabs, hamsters, etc.). My mom was a dalmatian breeder and shower, so I also have experience in showing dalmatians and knowing the basic process of breeding/birthing. I have pet-sat for several people throughout my life, including neighbors and family friends. I also had the opportunity to work at a vet for two years. I am comfortable staying in-home with your animal(s) or just occasional check-ins, feeding them, administering medication, trimming nails, giving baths, cleaning cages/litter box, walking animals that are leash trained, and much more. I have some experience in training since I have shown dogs before, but I will admit that it is something I could practice on.
