Hi! My name is Whitley and I am from the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. I have years of experience of working with rescue dogs and other animals such as cats and horses. I have grown up around dogs my whole life, and currently am the "sister" to a nine year old blue brindle pittbull named Lucyfur (yes, after the devil, but she's just a hugs cuddle bug) and a four year old dapple dachshund named Bobby Brown (he's the evil one and also my mom's favorite child). I have dog boarding knowledge and I am Pet CPR & First Aid Certification. I have been dog sitting when I am home for school breaks for the past five years, and have decided to start doing it during the school year as well. I would love to be a veterinarian, but I couldn't beard to have to put animals down, so I have decided to focus on pre-med at Columbia University where I am studying biology and women and gender studies. I have decided to just to work with animals on the side for joy while I am in undergrad and in the city while I am away from my dogs. I love all breeds of dogs, but mutts, rescues, and pitbulls have an extra special spot in my heart. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions, and I hope to get to meet many of your dogs!
