I am a highly motivated individual who's passion is to work with animals. I have 3 years hands on experience in the medical fields as a Medication Technician and a Nurse Aide, also 6 years hands on experience in the clerical field as a Office Clerk. I received
my Veterinary Assistant Certificates in 2012-2013 from Rockingham Community College. I feel confident that my background and strong skills make me a ideal candidate for the position of a animal caregiver.
I have worked extensively with geriatric patients, providing and documenting all personal
care and rehabilitation services such as feeding, bathing and assisting with mobility. I also own a variety of different kind of animals from horses to ferrets and worked with them in many different ways such as feeding, bathing and cleaning out their kennels, cages and stalls. I have also worked with special needs and geriatric individuals for 3 years and with many kinds of animals my entire life and strongly feel that my background would serve me well in working with any animal in a time of need or with any type of care.

Ÿ Process Improvement: Streamlined treatment documentation by suggesting and
implementing improvements to the routine forms used to track patient progress and
treatments.
Ÿ Collaboration: Partnered with other Veterinary/Nursing Assistants to effectively track
status, progress and the overall well-being.
In addition to holding a current Veterinary Assistant Certificates and Medication Technician
Certificate from Rockingham Community College, I also hold a Nurse Aide Certificate and a
EKG Technician Certificate. I've planned to purse additional training opportunities when available through Rockingham Community College in order to stay current with best practices in the field.
