Hello! My name is Rachel and I am a recent graduate from UNCW. I majored in exercise science and minored in assistance dog training. I have loads of experience working with dogs as well as other types of animals. During high school I worked at a doggy daycare part-time and was responsible for the welfare of up to 10 dogs per day. I was responsible for making sure their kennels were clean, administering medication, and taking them out for exercise. Also during high school I worked on a farm where I cared for dogs, horses, goats, chickens, ducks, guineas, and cats. I also have a grown-up pet sitting for family and friends for many years. During college I was able to get lots of experience training and handling dogs through Paws4people. I have two of my own dogs and I’m very passionate about them.
