Hi I'm Bernie! I have had pets my whole life. Everything from cats and dogs, rabbits to frogs. The past 8 years I have worked at NorthStar VETS, and received my credentials as a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2012. I completed my degree in Veterinary Technology at Camden County College in May 2011. Since working at NorthStar I gained vast experience caring for many different species. I have worked in many departments; emergency, surgery, internal medicine, oncology, physical therapy, exotics, nursing care, ICU, theriogenology, opthomology, dermatology, and dentistry. I am comfortable handling, as well as medicating, cats, dogs and exotics; including: avian, reptiles, snakes, and pocket pets. From September 2007 - December 2009 I volunteered at the Philadelphia Animal Care and Control Association, where I was involved with socializing cats, walking dogs, and helping out in the spay and neuter clinic.
