My name is Amanda, and I just wrapped up my first year as a veterinary student at UTCVM! I have extensive experience as a veterinary technician in small animal medicine (dogs, cats, rabbits, etc.), large animal medicine (horses cattle, farm animals, etc), and exotics (snakes, birds, other herps and insects). In addition to these experiences, I have been pet sitting for 10+ years! Due to my veterinary background, I am extremely comfortable caring for special-needs pets and a WIDE variety of species! I can administer medications (IV, IM, SQ, PO, etc.), perform first aid, and cater to most other needs your pet may have. As a pet owner myself, I know how nerve-wracking leaving your pet behind can be. To ease these nerves, I prioritize being available to clients at all moments during my working hours. I am personable and happy to accommodate any individual needs you or your pet may have-- just ask! I truly enjoy spending time with animals (so much so, I decided to build my entire career around it LOL) and figuring out how to make them feel as comfortable and happy as possible.
