Thank you for taking the time to check out my profile. My name is Isabelle and I am one of many sitters. What sets me apart from many is my experience in the Veterinary Field, Pet Hotels and Dog Training. I am also on Wag! Rover and Sitting for a Cause. I also do private bookings.
I worked as a Veterinary Assistant for over two years in the Bay Area before relocating to Citrus Heights. I also completed Penn Fosters Veterinary Technician program. In addition, I worked at Wag Hotels managing dog play groups, handling feeding, cleaning and pet care. I have years of experience in animal behavior, especially with dogs. I moved to Citrus Heights about 6 months ago and I am looking to build my clientele in the pet care industry as I left many clients behind in the move.
I have retired from the veterinary field and I am now perusing a psychology Associates to Transfer at American River College with mainly online classes.
I have had dogs of all sizes and temperaments in my life. I am experienced with dog walking and am willing to take dogs to the dog park or on runs. My husband often helps with walks, feeding and play time. He also grew up around dogs and shares a love for them.
Depending on how many pups we have and pending owner approval my husband and I like taking pups to Folsom Lake, on hikes, dog parks or down to the American River!
I have two dogs of my own and would love to help take care of yours! Odyssey is an Italian Greyhound Mix whom we rescued 2 years ago from the Humane Society Silicon Valley. She can sometimes be a bit standoffish when new guests arrive, but she quickly warms up and wants to play. Loco is a Chihuahua Fox Terrier Mix whom we rescued at Pets In Need in Redwood City about a year and a half ago. He can be a bit yappy when new guests arrive but loves to play tug-o-war and fetch. Odyssey and Loco have both made lasting friend’s during boarding’s.
I am flexible and available on short notice. Working with animals was my career and will forever remain my passion! I love all dogs, big and small, loud and quiet, energetic and calm. I look forward to creating a Pawsome relationship with you and your pups.
