I have had multiple different types of pets throughout my life. I have also been pet/house sitting for the last 15 years. I have multiple clients where I am available for every vacation even with short notice. I will visit the home multiple times a day, go for a daily walk, go to dog parks (if family would like), I have given animals medications and brought animals to day care/grooming/training.
